Every project that NVT manages includes some form of logisticsand inventory control

The Logistics element of our Operations consolidates all our logistics and transporta- tion activities including direct and expendable material procurement, spare parts inventory and provisioning management and material services and storage operations. Elements of our approach to logisitics and procurement management include:

• Material, personnel and equipment movement
• Packing, scheduling and shipping
• Procurement and supply operations
• Cost schedule coordination
• Materials receiving, inspection and identification
• Warehousing and inventory control
• Materials distribution

Responsive supply and provisioning is essential to the success of any support contract. Procurement and expediting, staging, transportation, inventory management and jobsite issuing are critical logistics activities that must be effectively managed. Using elements of the DOD/CALS process, NVT integrates procurement, inventory management and equipment management which allows for closer control of routinely used supplies and spares as well as critical equipment and components. We provide a direct interface between inventory management and procurement to better manage priorities, meet emergency needs and to track inbound acquisitions.
